Our Story

Ever since the Covid-19 pandemic began, health official have stressed the importance of social distancing to help flatten the curve of the spread. Unfortunately, some people are not following the six-feet separation rule. It is for this reason we started The Distance Project.

Our project is simple; we have made buttons for people to wear to indicate they would like to keep a six-foot distance from others when they are out in public because they are participating in the social distancing initiative. These buttons also symbolize and demonstrate community spirit and American unity.

We have distributed a couple hundred buttons, but would like our “crusade” to grow. Anyone can order buttons to show their support. Our prices are designed to cover manufacturing and shipping cost. Any and all profit will be donated to First Responders Foundation.

To help encourage social distancing buy buttons and wear them to show you are part of the initiative.

Our goal is to encourage social distancing, but any and all profit that may be accumulated will be donated to First Responders Foundation.

We have started with three simple designs. There are two American flag buttons to show national unity and one targeting our base in Nebraska. If demand warrants, we will expand to other states and beyond.
